Another first for Café Noir

The Café Noir Group have been included in John McKenna’s highly acclaimed Bridgestone Guide and Lucinda O’Sullivan’s Great Places to Eat 2011. This is the first time that 4 outlets under the same brand have ever been included in either guide.

“These are two of the most prestigious food guides in the Country & to be assessed and included in both is amazing” commented Pat O’Sullivan, Proprietor, to the best of my knowledge it’s the first time that this has been achieved.

Esteemed food critic Lucinda O’Sullivan states in her guide, “Pat O’Sullivan is no newcomer to the food industry so he really knows what he is about and what his customers want and he set about providing it. The minute you walk through the doors of any Café Noir you get this wonderful waft of fresh bread and coffee emanating from behind the counters”.

The formula is simple, the discipline considerable, and it doesn’t miss a beat from pastry-topped onion soup to lemon meringue pie states John Mckenna in the Bridgestone Guide.

We are very grateful for the support of the Limerick public who have really embraced the concept which shows their appreciation & knowledge of good food concluded Mr O’Sullivan.
